Obituary of Saad Nashed Ibrahim

Saad Nashed Ibrahim "Abe" - devoted husband, father, and grandfather - passed away the morning of June 22, 2022. Born in Khartoum, Sudan November 9, 1923 to Nashed and Esthera. Abe is preceded in death by his wife, Aida, 49 years ago; and is survived by his two sons, Ramses Nashed MD (Kimberly) and Rafat Nashed MD (Rayanne), and four grandchildren, Danielle, Jeremy, Rebecca, and Matthew. 

Abe spent the early part of his career as a science teacher while in Egypt, before becoming a pharmacist. Soon after moving to New York City his beloved Aida passed away.  He raised his 2 sons while often working 2 full-time jobs.  Later he opened his own drug store where he worked until his retirement in 1999. 

Abe moved to St Pete Beach, FL in 1999 - where he could finally do an activity he always longed to do…fishing.  He would fish rain or shine, day or night, hot or cold. He also enjoyed spending time with and being surrounded by his family. 

A gathering will be held at David C. Gross Funeral Home on Saturday, June 25th at 9am with a service beginning at 10am. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens.
