Obituary of Joan C. Engel

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Joan C. Engel of Sarasota, and formerly of New York City, on August 27, 2018. Joan was the loving mother of Alex, Ken, and daughter-in-law Jess; inseparable husband of Stephen; devoted sister of Kathryn; and adoring grandmother of Avi and Lizzy. She also held dearly her stepsons and their wives; Peter & Cheryl and John & Yung Yung; and their children, Hannah, Gabriel, Lauren, and Jeremy.
