Blair Wolfson 82 of Longboat Key passed away November 28, 2017. Preceded in death by his beloved parents Wilfred & Elizabeth “Libby”. Survived by the love of his life, best friend and wife of 51 years, Fremajane; sons, Bill (Jill) and Rob (Tamara); grandchildren, Ivy, Ayden and Sophia; sister-in-law Joni Lipschultz Burg (Bill); sister Joyce Witzman and her family and numerous friends mostly from MN and Longboat Key, FL. As a young man he was a traveler, basketball player and golfer. He started his career early and become a real estate entrepreneur alongside his father. Upon finding his true love and getting married his focus quickly became his family and providing for them. He took great pride in this and his real estate career, his friends, an exceptional group that Freem helped cultivate, and supporting his Jewish Community. He was born and raised in South Minneapolis and he and his forefathers lived and had a connection to Lake Minnetonka since 1910 and Sarasota, FL since the late 50s. He loved boating, classical & jazz music, food, and of course his quiet time smoking his pipe or cigar. Blair was a man of tremendous character with unwavering values, humility and love throughout his life. The benefit of these qualities and his devotion was most felt and appreciated by his family and close friends. Funeral service 12:30 pm SUNDAY, December 3rd at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2323 Fremont Ave So., Minneapolis, MN. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to All Faiths Food Bank, Sarasota, FL.
