Obituary of Edmund Samuel Goulder

Edmund Samuel Goulder, 95, passed away on December 21, 2017. Loving husband of Joan (nee Breitbart) for 67 years. Beloved son of the late Adolph "Putty" and Irene Goulder. Loving father of sons Alan (Eileen) and Daniel (fianc Cindy Walsh) and grand- children Brett (Sonomi) and Kip (Brina). Loving brother of Elise (Doovy, deceased) Kirschenbaum, Herbert (Terry, deceased) Goulder and the late Rose (Melvin) Rubin, Serene Shaper, Morton (Claire), Albert (Judy) Goulder. Beloved uncle and friend to many. Edmund proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, piloting 23 bombing missions against Nazi-occupied Europe before becoming a POW. After the war, Edmund joined his family business at the Doan Electric Company, retiring as President. During his career, he also helped establish APG Electric in Clearwater, FL. Edmund will be laid to rest in a private ceremony in Sarasota. A celebration of his life will be held this summer with details to follow.
